Demetre Allen Gano, 41 of Logansport passed away on November 28, 2025.
Born on February 5, 1984, in Hayti, Missouri to Leona M. Wilson.

Demetre attended Logansport High School and later earned his GED. Demetre was currently employed by Bechtol Construction and was working on the Mammoth Solar Project near Star City.

First and foremost – Demetre loved all 3 of his children.

Demetre really loved helping “Pops” work on vehicles. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, family gatherings & cookouts and listening to 80’s music. He loved people in general. Demetre was a sports fanatic: football – especially the Indianapolis Colts, basketball, and WWE wrestling were among his favorites.

Survivors include his mother, Leona M. Wilson. Daughter: Macy Seekell. Sons: Donovan Shaver (Mikayla) and Dallas Gano. Brothers: Michael Wilson (Ginger) and Harley Anglin (Jacqueline). Several nieces and nephews. Besties: Patricia Wickersham “Pooch” and Jessica “Jammer” Benn.

He was preceded in death by Rick “Pops” Wilson; Uncle John Wilson; Uncle Russell Gano; Aunt Sonya Roberts and Grandma Virginia Beaver.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist Demetre’s family with his final expenses.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory Marocco Chapel, 119 East Market Street Logansport, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
