Logansport Parks unveils 2026 Winter Recreation Guide

Logansport Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the release of its official Winter 2026 Recreation Guide – a comprehensive look at the programs, events, and opportunities planned for the upcoming season.

The 2026 Winter Recreation Guide reflects continued growth in community engagement, with expanded family programing, wellness offerings, community meetings, and events. Many new and fresh things are planned for the beginning of the year. Notably the “Parks and Plants” monthly meetings for families interested in growing seeds into vegetables and fruits, as well as new takes on some of our signature events. Our Family Snow Ball, held February 19th at the Vibrant Event Center, is a re-fresh of the Daddy Daughter Dance, now will include all family members in the fun.

Looking ahead, Logansport Parks and Recreation will continue unveiling the upcoming programs throughout the year with this format of a Spring, Summer, and Fall Recreation Guide. These guides will highlight additional programs and seasonal events planned for the community. While the 2026 calendar has been finalized, the department welcomes opportunities for local businesses, organizations, and community

members to support upcoming events through sponsorships, partnerships, and volunteer involvement. Together, these collaborations help ensure accessible, engaging and fresh experiences for residents of all ages. The 2026 Winter Recreation Guide is now available online at logansportparks.com , and will be distributed in bite-sized brochures throughout the community in the coming weeks.
