Luther “David” Bledsoe, 78, of Galveston, passed away early Friday, January 16, 2026, at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo.  He was born September 26, 1947, in Kingsport, Tennessee to Luther Day and Dorcie (Willis) Bledsoe.  He married Bonnie L. Lange on April 13, 1969, and she preceded him in death on February 14, 2016.

Dave served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and retired from Chrysler in 1998 with over 30 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

Surviving family include his two sons, Steve Bledsoe of Kokomo, and David and wife Kimberly Bledsoe of Galveston.   He is also survived by three granddaughters, Kayla, Katlyn and Kiara and six great grandchildren, Hazel, Kayde, Everley, Liam, Madelyn and Ryleigh.  Dave is preceded by his parents and wife Bonnie.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held with a memorial visitation soon…..
