Logansport High School – Felix the Cat Mascot 100th Birthday Celebration set for Feb. 27, 2026

The Logansport Athletic Department would like to invite our community to the oldest mascot in the state, Felix the Cat, 100th birthday celebration taking place on February 27, 2026 at the Berry Bowl during the Boys’ basketball game vs. Benton Central. Felix will be accompanied by several other mascots including, Indianapolis Indians mascot, “Rowdie”, Charlie Cardinal from Ball State, Purdue Pete, and several other high school mascots. We will be recognizing and honoring the history and traditions of Felix over his 100 years as a mascot of Logansport High School. There will be several activities in the auxiliary gym for children of all ages, and a picture session with Felix as well.

In partnership with LCSC Food Service team, the LHS Alumni Association will have a chicken noodle meal, which includes main entrée, two sides, dinner roll, dessert, and drink and is open for all ages. The pregame
dinner will be served from 5:00 – 6:30 PM in the LHS cafeteria for $10 a meal. Pre-sale tickets are currently
available for sale at the LHS Main Office, Athletic Office, or at Creative Promotions.

The athletic department is asking the community for help in two different ways. First, there is a planned recognition of any past students who performed as Felix. If you were Felix or know the name of someone that was Felix, please contact the athletic department at 574.753.2250. Secondly, anyone who has pictures of Felix entertaining guest for Logansport throughout the years is encouraged to also contact the athletic department so their picture may be included in a digital photo montage shown at the game.

Pre-sale tickets to the game are on sale currently at the LHS Athletic Office or at Creative Promotions, 506 North St. Tickets for the game are $7 and Berries fans are encouraged to get them early as we expect a capacity crowd.

Finally, a special commemorative 100 Years of Felix shirt will be sold for this event. The shirt is $15 and may be purchased at Creative Promotions. If you wish to order online, this option is available until February 16 by visiting https://creative-promotions.chipply.com/Felix100/. Online orders can be picked up at Creative Promotions on February 25.
