Stout announces campaign for Indiana House District 38

Tipton native and proud Hoosier, Nate Stout has officially announced his candidacy for Indiana House District 38, which includes all of Tipton and Carroll Counties, along with portions of Cass, Clinton, and Tippecanoe Counties.

Stout is entering the race to hold the local government accountable for their spending, to ensure that his District has due representation for their tax dollars, as the election in November will determine whether or not resources continue to be siphoned away from rural communities.

“I’m running because I believe Indiana can do better. Better for our schools, better for our healthcare, and better for the small towns that keep our state strong,” Stout says. “Our communities deserve a government that works as hard as the people who live here.”

Stout’s campaign centers on three key priorities:
● Public Education Funding: Ensuring every child in Indiana has access to a high-quality education, no matter their ZIP code.
● Rural Access to Healthcare: Expanding access so families don’t have to travel an hour just to see a doctor.
● Smart local Investment: Building strong local economies that support working families.

With private schools absorbing public money, hospitals and health clinics suffering from Medicaid cuts, and a growing economic dependence on nonlocal businesses, Stout is advocating for practical, common-sense leadership focused on results, not party lines.

“This campaign is powered by people. By neighbors who care about their community and want to build a better future for their families,” Stout says, emphasizing his belief that real change starts with local conversations.
