The League of Women Voters of Cass County, in partnership with the Logansport/Cass County Chamber of Commerce, will host a Town Hall Meeting featuring candidates for Cass County Sheriff on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. The event will be held in the Community Rooms at Ivy Tech Community College, located at 1 Ivy Tech Way, Logansport, Indiana. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
The purpose of the Town Hall is to provide Cass County voters with a fair, nonpartisan opportunity to hear directly from all qualified sheriff candidates and to gain a better understanding of each candidate’s perspectives on law enforcement, public safety, jail operations, and community relations.
For the 2026 Primary Election, the candidate forum will follow a Town Hall–style format, allowing voters to hear candidates address key issues and respond to questions in a structured and informative setting.
Candidate forums and debates are a vital part of the democratic process. They allow candidates to share their priorities and experience while giving voters the opportunity to compare candidates side by side. These events help voters make informed decisions and strengthen civic engagement within the community.
