Logansport High School Speech Team headed to State Tournament on March 14, 2026

The Logansport High School Speech Team is sending 19 students with 23 entries to the State Tournament on March 14 at Penn HS. The team earned 2nd at the Section 4 Sectional on February 28. Sectional Champions included Madison DeHaven Original Performance and Cesar Martin in Impromptu. State qualififers include: Axel Loran & Jackson Lyhtgoe in Radio; Saylor McClain in Declamation; Visha Patel, Noah Picardo, and Larry Umholtz in Discussion;  Alivia Isaacs & Kendal Kranz in Drama; Jack Leeman in IX; Madilie Franco, Austyn Zimmerman & Sofia Herrera in Humorous; Crystal Gomez in Informative; Marissa Saengkeo in Oratory; Nathalia Hernandez, Esther Sell, and Austyn Zimmerman in Original Performance; Alivia Isaacs in Poetry; Madilie Franco in Programmed Oral Interp; Landon Ferris in Prose; Cesar Martin in USX.
