Sharon Ann Nethercutt, 74, of Twelve Mile, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Born October 23, 1951, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Sadonna M. (Swank) Terry.
On March 3, 1973, in the United Methodist Church in Stockwell, she was married to Fred C. Nethercutt, who survives.
She had a gift for making the world more beautiful, one small creation at a time. Whether she was in her garden, holding a paintbrush, or tucked into her favorite chair with her knitting or crochet, she poured love into everything she touched. Sharon enjoyed crafting, and it was one of the ways she showed her creativity. She loved wandering the woods in search of mushrooms.
Surviving with her husband of 53 years, Fred Nethercutt, is their daughters, Gabrielle Early (Scott Homburg), Erica Beaman (Jason Kerkhoff) and Chenoa Nethercutt (Ramona Householder-Murray); brother, Gregory (Dee) Terry; sisters, Suzanne Cole (Jim Peck), Sandra (Jim) Townsend and Stephanie Terry; grandchildren, Isaak (Kelsey) Beaman, Braxton Early (Kenzie Penn), Alexa Early (Nathan LoCoco), Ethan Beaman, Rowyn Hanaway and Chloe Early; and great-grandchildren, Stockton Beaman, Lucas Early-Sheets, Paisley Early, Sterling and Stetson Beaman.
She was preceded in death by her infant brother William Terry.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026, in Fisher Funeral Chapel. A funeral service celebrating Sharon’s life will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rich Carmichael officiating.
Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery.
