Jason Lee Geisler, 53, Logansport, Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026, in IU University Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born August 20, 1972, in Monticello, Indiana, he was the son of David Geisler and Sheri (Seymour) Geisler, who survive.
Jason was a 1991 graduate of Logansport High School. He furthered his education at Indiana University-Kokomo where he earned a Bachelor’s degree.
Jason was a dedicated, hard-working lab technician at BHJ.
He enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons, The Clash of Clans, and Fantasy Football. Jason loved playing and listening to the guitar. He loved exploring the woods, identifying various tree species and searching for morel mushrooms.
Surviving with his parents, David (Diane) Geisler and Sheri Geisler, are his children: Lars (Adelae) Geisler, Brittany Geisler, Sydney (Adam) Kennedy, and Gabbi (Lance) Hoch; two brothers, Eric (Tammy) Geisler and Jeremy Geisler (Larissa Owen; a sister-in-law, Lisa Walker; and five grandchildren, Addalyn, Sam, Callan, Crue, and Isla.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Geisler.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 18, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
A memorial service celebrating Jason’s life will follow at 4 p.m. with Adam Thor Geisler officiating.
Burial, at a later date, will be in the family columbarium at Mount Hope Cemetery.
