Carolyn J. Randle, age 79 of Royal Center, IN, passed away Friday August 7, 2026, in Saint Anthony Health and Rehab Center of Lafayette, IN.

Born February 11, 1947, in Monticello, IN to the late Mark and Mildred (Fleener) Perry. On October 4, 1999, in Gatlinburg, TN she married Dana E. Randle who preceded in death on October 16, 2016.

Carolyn retired from Federal Mogul after several years of dedicated service. She enjoyed Sunday drives in the country, pull tabs at the V.F.W. and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Andrew (Tina) Shay, Brookston, IN and Matthew Shay, Logansport; a special stepdaughter, Tanya (Carlos) Conner, Logansport, IN; two sisters, Joyce Jenkins, Monticello, IN and Norma (Jim) Dowden, Reynolds, IN; one brother, Bob Perry, Monticello, IN; five grandchildren, Justin Fulton, Elisha Walden, Joshua Fulton, Amber Little and Adam Shay ; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by one son, Roger Shay, three brothers and four sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday August 29, 2026, in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Gundrum Funeral Home and Cass County Crematory.
