Deborah Kay Enyart -O’Connor-Beattie, age 72, of Logansport, passed away suddenly at 4:56 am in Franciscan Hospital East of Lafayette.

Born November 17, 1953, in Logansport, IN to the late Arthur T. and Audrey V (Scheuer) Enyart. On May 25, 2018 she married Donald L. Beattie who preceded in death on January 26, 2020.

Deb formerly served as the first and only female Logansport Building Commissioner and became Administrative Assistant for the Logansport Fire Dept.. Deb was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and enjoyed cooking, even though she was found eating out most of the time. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include one son, John O’Connor, Logansport, IN; one daughter, Shannon (Bryan) Lowry, Lafayette, IN; bonus daughter, Julie (Jeff) Zellers, Rochester, IN; Companion, Butch Munson, Twelve Mile, IN; two Brothers, Cecil (Leah) Enyart, Rochester, IN and Mark Mattox, Logansport, IN: four grandchildren, Bailey (Patrick) Walker, Bryce (Sydney) Carmin, Makayla O’Connor, Aidan Lowry; 2-great grandchildren, Avery Carmin and Ellis Carmin and one on the way; Several Nieces and Nephews; Bonus Sons, Chris, Chad and Bryan Dixson; bonus grandsons, Malachi & Jaxson Leal.

2-Sisters, Janet Nolte and Jean Ann Netser, one brother, James Enyart, one grandson, Michael Ryan O’Connor, preceded in death.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Tuesday August 18, 2026, in the Gundrum Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Chris Dixson officiating.

A gathering in honor of Deb (Per her request) will be held from 3-7 pm Saturday August 22, 2026, at the Logansport Shrine Club, 415 High Street Logansport, IN 46947. During her gathering, friends and family will be encouraged to share remembrances.
