Diana Jo “Diney” (Cox) Ashcraft, 63, of Logansport, Indiana, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in Chase Center, surrounded by her family following a long and courageous battle with kidney failure.
Born November 23, 1962, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Warren Otis and Dona Rae (Kite) Cox.
A 1981 graduate of Lewis Cass High School, where she was active in Pep club. Diana went on to further her education at Ball State University earning her Masters. She later earned a Bachelor of Science at Information Technology Institute.
Diana and her former husband, T.J. Ashcraft, were married in 1988, and blessed with one daughter, Megan Ashcraft, who survives.
Diana dedicated 35 years working at 4C Health as an I.T. System Analyst.
She was very creative and loved to crochet, draw and doodle. Diana was always up for a good card game and she enjoyed the challenge of a Sudoku puzzle. She loved playing the piano and was eager to learn new things. Diana especially enjoyed spoiling her dogs over the years, especially her special girl, Misty. More than anything, she loved visiting with her family.
Surviving is her daughter, Megan Rae Ashcraft (Kenneth), two brothers, Michael Owen Cox and James Toliver Cox; one sister, Deborah Sue (George) Graves; her aunt Bonnie Kite; several loving nieces, nephews and cousins, and her best friend, Kathy Mughmaw.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Darla Kay Delk Tingley.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m Saturday, August 29th. in Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana.
A funeral celebrating Diana’s life will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel.
Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
As a wag to her love of animals, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Cass County Humane Society, or you may bring pet canned or dry food to the visitation/service which will be taken to the animal shelter.
