Lorita “Lori” Jane (Fickle) Kniesly

Lorita Jane “Lori” Kniesly, 84, of Green Valley, Arizona, formerly of Vero Beach, Florida and Kokomo, Indiana, passed away June 15, 2026, in Green Valley.  She was born August 4, 1941, in Galveston, Indiana to Joe and Josephine (Hicks) Fickle.  On April 8, 1986, she married Richard “Dick” Kniesly and he survives.  Lori graduated from Scircleville High School in 1959 and later attended Purdue University.   She was a member of the Sewing Society in Vero Beach and enjoyed quilting, embroidery, reading, dancing and bowling.  She also attended Grace Fellowship and Vero Christian Churches.  She retired from Delco Electronics in 1999 with 20 years of service.

Lori is survived by her husband Dick Kniesly of Green Valley, Arizona and her children, Mike (Kim) LaFollette, Robin (Rob) McGreevy, David LaFollette, Tammy (Dean) Montel, Loann (Mike) Burke, Joe (Emily) Kniesly, Warren (Cris) Kniesly, Steve (Sally) Benke and Julia Kniesly.  She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, step father, Raymond “Ray” Jones and one sister Joni Hassfurder.

In keeping with Lori’s wishes, no public services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Support Group of Green Valley, Arizona.
