Bruce Hopkins Doles, 70, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in Community Heart & Vascular Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Born February 27, 1956, in Logansport, Indiana. He was the son of the late Richard Hopkins Doles and Mary (Zinszer) Doles Asplet.

Bruce was a 1975 graduate of Logansport High School and an alumnus of Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana.

He worked at Carmel Financial for a number of years; before starting his own handyman business.

Bruce had an adventurous spirit. He loved riding his motorcycle on the open road, watching Indy car racing and classic car shows. He took pride in his gardens and had a close connection with his neighbors. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

He had faith in Jesus Christ and trusted in his infinite power. In his passing, he gave the gift of life through the Indiana Donor Network.

Surviving are his sisters: Leslie Newton, Anderson, Indiana, and Tracy (Clay) Jackson, Logansport, Indiana; and several nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Bryan McDonnell Doles in 2025, and his great nephew, Greyson Scott Jackson, in 2026.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date, along with burial at St. John’s Cemetery, Logansport, Indiana.
