Thomas W. “Wayne” Brugh, 69, of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Franciscan Health in Lafayette.

Born September 1, 1957, in Logansport, he was the son of Gene and Mary (Finton) Brugh.

On December 24, 1985, in Logansport, he married Janet Zellers, who survives.

He worked as a mechanic for many years, lending his skill and dependability to Pasquale Trucking and Angle Trucking.

Wayne was happiest with a wrench in his hand and a project waiting in the garage. That little workshop was his home away from home, a place where he could tinker, fix, rebuild, and lose track of time doing what he loved.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janet; children Cody, Katelynn, April, and Tabitha; sister Kathy; numerous grandchildren he loved dearly; and several friends whose kindness over the years meant a great deal to him.

Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy, Katelynn’s twin and by two brothers.

In keeping with Thomas’s wishes, there will be no public services. His cremation will be handled with care by Fisher Funeral Chapel.
