Ronnie Lee Perkins, 76, of Logansport, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026.
Born on January 2, 1950, in Missouri, Ronnie was the son of Robert and Mildred (Boak) Perkins, both of whom preceded him in death.
On June 24, 2006, Ronnie married, Rose Rans-Perkins, and together they shared 20 years of marriage.
Ronnie dedicated his career to the trucking industry, and he took great pride in his work and the countless miles he traveled over the years. When he wasn’t on the road, Ronnie enjoyed spending time in his RV.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Rose Rans-Perkins; his children, Ronnie (Marcia) Perkins, Kemberly (Jeff) Harris, Tangel Runyon, Billy (Julia) Perkins, Lisa (Mike) McCurry, and Joshua Perkins (his dog, Buttercup); his brother, Donnie Perkins; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Perkins, and one brother, Marvin Perkins.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ronnie’s life during visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Gundrum Funeral Home, 1603 East Broadway, Logansport. Burial will immediately follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Demotte, Indiana.
