Judy Jane Osborn

Judy Jane Osborn, 78 of Logansport, Indiana, passed away early Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Aperion Care in Peru, Indiana.

Born February 25, 1948, she was the daughter of the late William W. Osborn and Inez L. (Shell) Osborn Bliss.

Judy was retired from RBM after working as an assembler for many years. spent her working years at RBM – later Essex – where they made the little parts that keep electrical switches and automotive components doing what they’re supposed to do. But if you ask anyone who worked beside her, they’ll tell you the real product of those years was friendship. Bonds formed on the assembly line, in the breakroom, and across decades of showing up for one another.

She was the last of her immediate family, never had children of her own – but she sure didn’t live life without family. Her nieces and nephews were her pride and her joy. She loved them in all the everyday ways that matter, and they loved her right back. Judy also loved her friends and appreciated the joy they brought to her life. 

She is survived by several nieces and nephews along with their families.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, William Robert Osborn, Jack Osborn, and Jerry Osborn; and four sisters, Lucille Bliss, Edith Spencer, Wanda Hurlburt, and Roberta Burgess.

A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Judy Osborn will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2026, in the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel, 1800 Grant Street, Logansport.  Hospice Chaplain Larry Phillips will be officiating. 

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the Mount Hope Chapel. 

Following the funeral, burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
