Esther Ellen Justice

Esther E. Justice, 89, of Logansport, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Chase Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born August 2, 1937, to the late Edward and Edith (Tomilson) Gunter. She married Charles L. Justice on September 5, 1953, in Fulton, and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2014.

Esther was a homemaker, priding herself in caring for her children and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, and gardening.

Surviving Esther are her children, Diana (John) Byers and Alberta Aaron; grandchildren, Kayla (Jeremy) Chapman, Jennifer (Andy) Scoles, Bradley (Amber) Justice, Brandon (Melea) Justice, Eddie Lopez, and Matthew Lopez; great grandchildren, Kiera, Zach, Owen, Bristol, and Bennett; and a great-great grandchild, Bentlee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by her sons, Charles L. Justice Jr., & Bruce Justice.

A graveside service will take place at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center at 12:00pm on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

The Justice Family would like to thank all the staff at Chase Center for the love and care they provided to Esther throughout her years there, especially to her favorite nurse, Kayla Chapman.
