Katrina M. (Zimmerman) Mundy

Katrina M. Mundy, age  54, Peru, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Born in Logansport February 8, 1972, she was the daughter of Michael and Carolyn Sue Hall Zimmerman.

She was married to Michael Mundy, who survives.

Surviving are sons, Braxton (Katie) Eckelberger, Matthew (Madison) Holliman; brother, Bill (Kailin) Bauman; sisters, Kris (Craig) Currier, and Kim Isaak.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, Emma Eckelbarger, Allie Eckelbarger Brielle Holliman, Theodore Holliman, Maverick Eckelbarger; two nephews, Zakary Forgey and Oliver Isaak.

Katrina was a wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family with her whole heart.

Her husband, Michael, was the love of her life, she enjoyed spending time with him boating, camping, and going to White Sox games.

She treasured the time she spent with her sons and grandchildren. Her face would light up when she spoke of her grandchildren, they were a true sense of joy for her.

Katrina was quick witted and had a wonderful sense of humor.

You never had to wonder what she was thinking, as she spoke her mind.

She loved to cook, enjoyed her garden and was an avid reader.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Bauman.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2026, at Kroeger Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, also at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society, 700 Water Street, Logansport. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
