Human Resources/Fiscal Specialist

HR/Fiscal Specialist $15.00 Hourly HSD $17.00 Hourly AA or higher

We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude to fill our Human Resources and Fiscal Specialsit Position. This is largely an administrative position responsible for recruiting and hiring new staff as well as some fiscal/payroll duties. The position will maintain staff files using ADP, run background checks, check references, and complete other office work. Candidates should also be able to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and other duties relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fiscal operations and basic accounting. To be successful, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive to detail while also possessing a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn other fiscal management software. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with one year of accounting, bookkeeping and payroll experience. Two years of experience is preferred. Applicant must possess a basic understanding of accounting systems and experience with ADP is a plus. An associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
