Here are details on a few upcoming youth programs, activities and sports happening in Cass County, Indiana during Summer and Fall 2025. Century Career Center Preschool Registration
Children need to be between the ages of 3-5 and potty trained. If you are interested, please call Teena Tocco at the Century Career Center 574-722-3811 Extension 28103 for more information.

Youth Basketball at the Cass County Family Y
Youth basketball will be an 8-week program. Each team will have one scheduled team practice during the week with games on Saturday mornings. The league will focus on skill sets, sportsmanship and character development.
Thanks to a very generous gift from an anonymous family, the first 150 kids to register will have their registration paid for during the 2025-2026 Youth Basketball program season!
Registration ends Nov. 3, 2025
Practices start Nov. 11, 2025
Games: Nov. 15, 22, Dec. 8, 13, Jan 14, 17 and 24.

Kids Crew Before and After School at the Cass County Family Y
The Cass County Family YMCA Kids Crew is a structured activity period for Students K-6th Grade. Well-trained staff, low student-to-staff ratio, homework assistance, and group activities at the Y makes this an excellent choice for a school year of fun, friends, and experiences! Register at the Y!
LCSC students in grades K-6 will be bused to and from the school.
Before school hours – 6-8 a.m
After school hours – 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Affordable and Convenient Before/After School Care
2-For-1 Rate:
Weekly Tuition: $45 Member; $65 Non-Member
Daily Tuition: $20 Member, $25 Non-Member
2nd Child Rate (Members Only):
Weekly $40 Daily $15

YOUTH SAFE SPACE INITIATIVE
This initiative offers a safe space designed to empower youth by developing essential protective factors, with a primary focus on social skills development and the prevention of peer pressure and substance use. The group strives to strengthen coping strategies, emotional processing, stress management, and dealing with interpersonal conflicts, among other vital topics.
By fostering a nurturing environment, participants can connect with experienced adult mentors and engage with their peers, sharing experiences, and insights in a safe space. The discussions are adaptable, ensuring they meet the specific needs of each specific group. With a max capacity of 15 participants per session, the program aims to enhance youths’ ability to communicate effectively with peers and adults, fostering reconnection and promoting healthy interaction and support-seeking behaviors.
Facilitated by a skilled Health Liaison, the group is dedicated to supporting mental health and encouraging youth to seek and offer support within their community.
Ages 12-16
Every Thursday
3:45 pm – 4:45 pm
Free peer and facilitator led group. A safe space for youth to connect and share. Must be no later than 15 mins from the start of the group to participate. Starts August 14, 2025 and will follow the LCSC school calendar, no meetings during vacations.

Activity Corner (Grades K-5)
Welcome to any youth in grades K thru 5 at 4C Health Community Corner on Mondays from 3-5 p.m.. Free for any youth to come into an adult monitored, free safe space for the youth to engage in positive peer interaction with others.
Each week offers something different in the areas of crafts, movies & popcorn, game night, and videogames.

Welcome to any youth in grades 6th thru 12th at 4C Health Community Corner on Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. Free for any youth to come into an adult monitored, free safe space for the youth to engage in positive peer interactions with others.
Each week offers something different in the areas of crafts, movies & popcorn, game night, videogames.

Kids Skate Free
Kids 12 and under skate free on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at Logansport Skate World and Fun Center. $5 entry and $3 rentals for those over 12.
