robinsonClaude C. Robinson, 72, of Logansport, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, in his home.

Born June 4, 1942, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Howard and Jean Allen Robinson.

On October 6, 1990, he was married to Fern Cullup Robinson, who survives.

Claude was retired from Wilson Foods where he had worked for 21 years as a meat cutter.  A musician since the age of 19, he had recorded several songs. He was the lead singer, straw boss, shot caller and rhythm player for the Eel River Band.

A member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Monticello and had served as trustee for the former Logansport Aerie No. 323 for seven years.

Surviving with his wife are two sons: Russell Robinson (Vicki) of North Carolina and Claude Robinson II (Jerrica Hardesty) Logansport, one daughter, Fonda Robinson (Gregory Yike) Logansport; two stepsons, Ryan Coons of Montana and Rosco Coons, of Washington state one half-brother, Casper Reutebuch, of Florida; eight grandchildren: Anna, Adam, Maria, Dakota, Dale, Mason, Claude III and Olivia; three step-grandchildren, Ryan Jr., Richie and Brooke; and his former wife Judy Marcinkowski and her husband Edward, of Winamac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his biological father, Jinx Reutebuch; one granddaughter Morgan Robinson and one sister, Suzanne Hood.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Claude C. Robinson will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 .

Interment will follow in the Clymers Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 in the funeral chapel.
