Harold C. Henisa

henisaHarold C. Henisa, 83, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on July 30, 1931 in Winchester, IN to the late Homer and Grace (Bradburn) Henisa.  On November 27, 1952 in Kokomo, he married Juanita Smith who survives.

Harold retired from the United States Air Force. After retirement he went on to work for T.M. Morris and later Logansport Memorial Hospital as director of maintenance. Harold was a 1950 graduate of Lafayette Jeff High School.  While in the Air Force he served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Wars. He is also a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Peru and Logansport.

Surviving along with his wife Juanita, are two sons, Steve (Coleen) Henisa, Oklahoma; Keith (Carol) Henisa, Peru; daughter, Janice Sue (Phillip) Sullivan, Kokomo; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Floyd Laabs and Pastor Tony Winters officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
