Joe D. Young, Sr., age 82, Logansport, went Home at 11:15 a.m., on Friday, February 27, 2015, in St. Vincent’s Heart Hospital in Indianapolis, after a brief illness.
The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, March 6, 2015, and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 7, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation on Saturday, with the Rev. Chuck Compton officiating.
Burial, with full military honors, will be in the Zion Cemetery in Lucerne.
A luncheon will follow in the Fellowship Hall of Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Calvary Presbyterian Church, the Cass County Historical Society, or the Cass County Community Foundation.
