Judith Anne “Judy” Beckler

Judith Anne “Judy” Beckler, age 74, Logansport, passed away at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor.
Born April 25, 1940, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Lewis and Arlis Jean Davis Oberly. Her mother, Arlis Jean Clay, survives, residing in Logansport.
On July 24, 1959, in Logansport, she married George M. Beckler, who survives.
Judy had been employed for 25 years at Federal-Mogul, and was a life member of the VFW Post 3790 Auxiliary.
A 1958 graduate of Logansport High School, Judy enjoyed playing BINGO, bowling, cooking, traveling and all animals.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are a son, Keith Beckler, Logansport, daughters, Rhonda (David) Smith, Logansport and Marcy (Jim) Young, Greentown; brother, Michael David (Terry) Clay, Huntington.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Derek Beckler, Jennifer Kraay and Benjamin (Vienna) Kraay and great grandchildren, Wesley Kraay and Colton Kraay; sister-in-law, Margaret (Robert) Bauman, St. Louis; nephew, Mark (Nancy) Maurer, great niece, Mattie Maurer and a great nephew, Kallen Maurer; and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
