rozziJoseph P. Rozzi, age 82, Logansport, passed away at 8:08 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born March 16, 1933, in Logansport, he was the son of Antonio and Nunziata Ricci Rozzi.

On November 7, 1953, in Logansport, he was married to Lou Ann Bunger, who survives.

Joe had been employed as a floral designer at Warner’s Greenhouse for over forty years.

A 1951 graduate of Logansport High School, Joe served in the United States Army.

Joe was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Karen (Jim) Hurst, Logansport, Beth Ann (Mark) Davis, Tempe, Arizona, Diane (Greg) Binney, and son, Joseph (Jean) Rozzi, all of Logansport; brothers, William Rozzi, South Bend and Bernard “Ben” Rozzi, and sister, Theresa Huff, both of Logansport; daughter-in-law, Vicky Rozzi and brother-in-law, Jerry (Kate) Bunger.

Also surviving are grandchildren, Bryan (Amanda) Bain, Jennifer (Chris) Corcoran, Donald (Theresa) Hurst, Kristi (Jeremy) Van Soest, Kristin Sturdivant, Jill Davis (Lauren), Andrew (Vanessa) Davis, Chad Woolington, Lyndsey (Fadi) Abdelkader, Missy (Chris) Layer, Mandy (Dan) Angle, Justin Woolington, Joseph (Emily) Rozzi, Erika (Matt) Callaway, Nathan Rozzi, Rachel Rozzi; thirty two great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by a son, Mark Rozzi, great grandson, Paul Hurst, brothers, Nicholas Rozzi, Carl Rozzi, August Rozzi and Charles Rozzi, and sisters, Mary Graf, Florence Gibson, Ann Ruther and Virginia Buttice.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Kroeger Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, also at the funeral home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Michael McKinney officiating. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the funeral procession to church.

Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Section of Mount Hope Cemetery.
