Anna Margaret Wise, 102, of Logansport, passed away at 5:43 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor.
Born April 18, 1913, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Becker Helvey.
On February 15, 1941, she married Gorman Lester Wise who preceded in death January 2, 1975.
A graduate of Logansport High School, Anna was a homemaker. She loved the out-of-doors and she also enjoyed playing cards. Anna was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are one son, Gary Wise of Logansport; one daughter-in-law, Donna Wise of Logansport; one brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Ruth Helvey, of Anderson; two grandchildren, Justina (Robert) Gallardo, of Logansport and Jeremy (Christina) Pauley, of Burnettsville; and four great-grandchildren Sophia and Anthony Gallardo and Rylynn and Maleah Pauley.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Robert and Fred Helvey and one sister, Mary Engle.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Anna Margaret Wise will be held at noon Friday, May 15th in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
