Catherine Stewart, 82 of Logansport passed away at 11:55 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2015 at Chase Center.
Born on January 19, 1933 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Rozzi) Graf.
Catherine was a 1946 graduate of St. Vincent School and a 1950 graduate of Logansport High School.
On December 1, 1956, she married Jason L. “Jake” Stewart. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1999.
Catherine was a homemaker and she enjoyed traveling, cooking and taking care of her family.
She was a lifelong member of All Saints Catholic Church, All Saints Ladies Society and the VFW Ladies Aux.
Survivors include her children, Mark Stewart of Camden and Marla Young (Scott Eakins) of Logansport, sister, Mary Lou Jones of Logansport and grandchildren; Matthew Young of Lafayette, Megan Young (fiancé, Kyle Douglass), of Logansport, Michael Young of Logansport, and Jason, Kylee, and Ty Stewart, all of Burrows.
She was also preceded in death by son, Fred Stewart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2015 at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Dominic Petan officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel where there will also be a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m.
Burial will be at Mt .Calvary Cemetery.
