William “Bill” Albright

William “Bill” Albright, 87, of Lucerne, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at his residence.
Born March 19, 1928, in Logansport, he was the late son of Glen and Wyone (Herr) Albright.
On August 24, 1949, in Logansport, he was married to Bonnie Louise (Jones) Albright, who survives
Bill was a lifelong farmer. He also worked as a mechanic.
A veteran of the United States Army, Bill served his country during World War II.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790.
Bill enjoyed gardening and family. He never knew a stranger and loved visiting with people. He also was especially fond of his pet cats.
Surviving with his wife of nearly 66 years are three children, Belinda Renkenberger and her husband David of Wabash, Glen Albright and his wife Vicki of Rochester and Gary Albright and his wife Suzette of Sharpsville; two sisters, Carol Smoot of Monticello and Louise(Richard) Galloway of Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Bryan (Kristi) Albright, Tina (Michael) Paschen, Travis (Emilee) Albright, Jeffery (Christina) Renkenberger, Christy (Melvin) Webb, Bob (Lisa) Leonard and Katie (Michael) Pence; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Albright.
Friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Monday May 11 at the Fisher Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12th in the funeral chapel with Rev. Bruce Russell officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
