Katherine Louise “Kay” Speitel, 67, Logansport, passed away at 5:26 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Memorial Hospital.
Born May 14, 1948, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Harry and Florence “Boots” Giffin Radke.
She was married to Donald Speitel, who survives.
Kay had been employed at Carlisle Manufacturing. She enjoyed fishing, but especially enjoyed her grandchildren and their activities.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Nathan (Lara) Speitel, Kewanna; brother, John (Rita) Radke, Warsaw and sister, Connie (Don) Kistler, Kokomo; grandchildren, Makinzie Nies, Mallory Speitel and Malayna Speitel; mother-in-law, Pearl Speitel, Logansport; several nieces and nephews, and three sisters-in-law.
A son, Lance Clay Speitel, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
