whiteMonica White, 95, of Kewanna passed away peacfully at 1:55 p.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born February 12, 1920 in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (O’Brien) Scheetz.  On July 28, 1945, she married William R. White and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1989.

Monica was a homemaker and farm wife. She enjoyed gardening and tending her flowers.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport and a former member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Lucerne.

Survivors include her son, Ted White (Vicki) of Kewanna, grandchildren, Seth White (Marla) of Kewanna and Grant White (Taylor) of Star City and great grandchildren, Eli, Isaac and Samuel White, all of Kewanna.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Joseph Scheetz, Leo Scheetz, Paul Scheetz and John Henry Scheetz and sisters, Mary Costello and Eva Colip.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Kewanna with Father Bert Woolson and Father John Costello officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel where there will also be a Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m.

Burial will be at Rochester IOOF Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
