Sharon Louise Garretson, 71 of Tipton, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 in her daughter’s residence in Tipton.
Born May 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Eugene and Jane Louise (Rhoda) Jackson.
On May 15, 1963 in North Carolina she married Lowell M. Garretson who preceded her in death on January 25, 2012.
Sharon was a candle designer for Ozark Mountain Gifts. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who loved her family and the outdoors. Sharon was a creative dress designer and enjoyed making
wedding cakes.
Surviving is one daughter, Melissa D. (Wayne L.) Pickering, Tipton, IN; one son, Randy A. (Suzette) Garretson, Lafayette, IN; four grandchildren, Morgan Garretson, Tiffani Garretson, Nicole Pickering, Cali
Pickering; one brother, Jack (Carol) Jackson, Lafayette, IN; and one sister, Nancy Banta, Danville, IN ; and three great grandchildren.
One brother, Donald Jackson Sr., preceded her in death.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory.
