Eugene Hardy-Dock McCarty, Logansport, the 5-month-old infant son of Timothy and Kristyn Lynn (Wert) McCarty, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at home.

He was born April 26, 2015, in Logansport.

Surviving with his parents are one sister Tierney McCarty, at home; one brother Brayden McCarty, at home; maternal grandparents Peggy and Randy Graves of Logansport; paternal grandparents, Tim and Falinda McCarty of Adrian, MI; great-grandparents Jim and Dianne Smith of Plymouth, Judy Ort of Morenci, Michigan and Wilma McCarty of Morenci, MI; great-great-grandfather Jack Arnett; aunts and uncles: Andrew Wert, Phillip (Shelby) Graves, Whitne (Justin) Campbell, Mikaela McCarty, Jessica (Eric) Ulery,Deb (Floyd) Hartwell, Dean (Kathy) Garver, Penny Garver, Brett Wiltfong, David (Lorri) Garver, Pat (Tana) Garver, Kari Sherwood, John (Andi) Rorick and Kassandra Dominique; great-aunts and great-uncles Carl Graves, Ron (Judi) Graves, Lynn Graves, Shane (Tina) Graves, Brad Graves, Tammy Clark, Todd McCarty and Ted (Kim) McCarty; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Del Wert; great-grandparents John Rorick, Dock McCarty, Hardy Wert, Velma Wert and Richard Ort; great-great-grandmothers Patricia Arnett and Jeanette Hunter; and uncles Delton Wert Jr. and Rob Wert.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Eugene McCarty will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29th in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Don Cline officiating.

Burial, at a later date, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery’s Baby Walk in Logansport.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service in the funeral chapel.
