Logansport Memorial Hospital welcomes a new licensed social worker to hospital network

Logansport Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Pamela Watterson, LCSW to its affiliated network of medical and clinical providers. She comes to Logansport Memorial with over 25 years of experience in social work and in providing mental health services to both children and adults. She will join Sara Kirkwood, LCSW in a combined office for Logansport Memorial Behavioral Services, located on the Lower Level of the Main Hospital in Suite 10.
Pamela received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the Bloomington and Indianapolis campuses of Indiana University. She went on to complete her Master’s of Social Work shortly thereafter, also from the Indianapolis campus of Indiana University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the State of Indiana, and has certifications from various associations, including the National Association of Social Work, the Indiana School Social Work Association, and the Indiana Association of Professionals, Inc. She is a Certified School Social Worker and a Certified Prevention Professional.
Most recently, Pamela served the senior citizens of the community at Senior Helpers. She has additional training in the areas of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, having participated in professional workshops on both topics. She has also been a Master’s level Instructor for the Indiana University School of Social Work since 2002.
