Lisa E. Arnett

Lisa E. Arnett, age 55, Logansport, passed away at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015, at her residence.

Born March 6, 1960, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of George William “Bill” and Mary Ellen Harvey Vautaw. Her parents survive, residing in Kokomo.

On May 21, 1983, in Kokomo, she was married to Daniel J. Arnett, who survives.

Lisa was a long-time teacher at All Saints Catholic School and currently taught at Lincoln Middle School. She was passionate about teaching and it was a great honor of hers to serve the Logansport community for so many years. She also enjoyed serving in various roles in children’s ministry at Revolution Community Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are her children, Holly (Jeremy) Ploch, Mount Pleasant, MI, Zachariah Arnett (Alyssa Dumire), Fort Wayne, Mary Faith Arnett, Ball State University; siblings, Beth Ann (Chris) Smith,  Michael Vautaw, Jodi Vautaw, Keith Vautaw, all of Kokomo and Marilea (Kirk) Fawcett, Pendleton; mother- and father-in-law, Fred and June Arnett and brother-in-law, Mike Arnett, all of Kokomo, and a number of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6th, at McHale Performing Arts Center, with Pastors Anthony Cozzello and Erik Kimbler.

Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, also at McHale Performing Arts Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to Revolution Community Church Children’s Ministry.
