Phyllis J. Hauser

Phyllis J. Hauser, 73, of Rochester, passed away Sunday Oct. 4, 2015 at 3:54 am in Woodbridge Health Campus of Logansport.

Born January 13, 1942 in Logansport to the late Joseph Edgar and Mary Edith “Morphet” St. Clair. On January 14, 1962 at Fletchers Lake she married Danny O. Hauser who survives.

Phyllis was a retired florist who had worked for Marsh and Martin’s. She was also a former employee of General Tire and a former bookkeeper for Kaiser Agriculture of Fulton. Phyllis was a member of the Metea Baptist Church and attended the Fulton Baptist Church.

Other survivors include two sons, Dale Hauser, Camarillo, CA; Duane Hauser, Muncie, IN; Son-In-Law, Bob Templeton, Bloomfield, IN; two sisters, Edith (Carl) Sell, Logansport, IN; Carolyn Hardebeck, Logansport, IN; Brother, Joe (Judy) St. Clair, Grass Creek, IN; five grandchildren, Nathan (Kelly) Templeton, Liz (Brenden) Dyer, Taylor Templeton, Andrew Templeton and Samantha Hauser; four great grandchildren, Julie Templeton, Audrey Templeton, Joshua Templeton and Titan Dyer; several nieces and nephews.

One daughter, Debbie Jo Templeton, preceded in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Fulton Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 – 8 pm Tuesday at funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice.
