Veterans Day is observed annually on Nov. 11.

Here’s a look at some of the activities happening in Cass County:
Cass County Veterans Day parade begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Cass County Government Building. All veterans are invited to participate. Lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. After a brief ceremony at the clock tower, there will be a ceremony at the Logansport City Building.
No mail delivery on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Logansport City Offices and Municipal Utilities Offices will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Logansport trash and recycle pickup will remain on regular schedule.
Eel Township Trustee’s Office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Cass County Government Building will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Walton Library closed Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Goodwill plans to offer Veterans 50% Off in their retail stores on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Also, they are encouraging the community to participate in GreenLight A Vet. This movement was initiated by Walmart with a goal to establish visible support for our veterans. They are asking individuals to change one light to green where it can be seen… on a porch, in their homes or offices. They are then asked to share their support by taking a picture of the green light and posting it to: #GreenLightaVet. Goodwill will be displaying information about GreenLight A Vet in its stores. Martin’s Super Markets will offer their 6th annual Veterans Day Honor Meal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. MORE INFO
Veterans Day Meal at American Legion Post #60 on Burlington Ave. from 5-7 p.m. Free meal for Veterans; guests $7.
