hatchbarkerKathryn L. Hatch-Barker, 96, of Logansport, passed away Friday November 27, 2015 at 10:35 pm in Lake Village Senior Living of Monticello.

Born Feb. 21, 1919 in Akron, IN to the late Odie and Nona (VanLue) Keesey. On Jan. 29, 1938 in Peru, IN she married John Martin Hatch who preceded in death on Sept. 23, 1982. On October 18, 1986 in New Waverly, IN she married Charles Z. Barker Jr. who preceded in death on January 24, 2004.

Kathryn was a homemaker and a 1935 graduate of Akron High School.

Survivors include two sons, Jan Hatch, Logansport; Mike (Kathy) Hatch, Normal, IL; two step daughters, Mary Ann (Mark) Schopper, Brownsburg, IN; Peggy (Dale) Brown, Galveston, IN; two step sons, Mark (Carla) Barker, Peru, IN; Chuck (Sherry) Barker, Hartford City, IN; three sisters, Patricia Stansbury, Janet White and Carolyn Sue Smith, all of Rochester, IN; four grandchildren, Joey (Troy) Mowery, Julie (Mike) Minthorn, Kris (Blake) Panton, Matt (Tina) Hatch; several step grandchildren, several great grand children, several step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday Dec. 2, 2015 at the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of services at the Gundrum Funeral Hme
