Tona S. Heckathorn, 66, Logansport, passed away at Logansport Memorial Hospital on November 20, 2015.
Born on December 28, 1948 in Logansport, she was the daughter to the late Melvin and Betty (DeWitt) Reynolds.
Tona worked at Indiana Packers for 13 years. Some of her favorite things to do were making hook rugs, watching her favorite programs on television and spending time with family.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen (Kenny) Scott, Logansport; Betty Ballenger, Logansport; seven grandchildren, Kam (Kristin) Scott, Logansport; Kenzey Scott and fiancé Frankie, Logansport; Brittany Berry, Logansport; Justin Ballenger and fiance Amanda Morgan, Logansport; Cody (Jessica) Ballenger, Peru, IN; Alta Wolfe, Indianapolis; Chelsie Ballenger, Logansport; seven great grandchildren, Keaton, Kyeson and Kenlyn Scott, Wyatt and Dawson Ballenger, Kayci Morgan and Madison Claiborne; three brothers, Jerry (Bev) Reynolds, Logansport; Rick (Susan) Reynolds, New Waverly, IN; George (Lois) Reynolds, Winamac, IN; three sisters, Beverly Reynolds, Logansport; Debbie (Wayne) Erwin, Logansport; Beth (Tom) Willy, Logansport.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Steve Reynolds and two children, Brenda and John Heckathorn.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Salvation Army located at 620 Wilkinson Street.
A gathering of family and friends will be held after the service until 6:00 pm Wednesday at the Salvation Army.
