wolfMargaret B. Wolf, 93, of Logansport passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on June 20, 1922 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Julia F. (Harper) Deitrich. On April 19, 1942 she married Billie D. Miller who died in the South Pacific on January 13, 1945 during WW2. On May 8, 1948 in Logansport she married Robert E. “Robin” Wolf who preceded in death on October 28, 1999.

Margaret retired from First Federal Savings and Loan in 1987 after 22 years of service. She was also formerly employed by the Golden Rule Department Store for several years.

She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church, The Altar Guild, Mary Martha Guild, and the Home and Hobby Extension Homemakers Club. Margaret was a 1939 graduate of Washington Township High School. She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking, baking, working with flowers, and watching gospel music videos.

Surviving are two daughters, Georgia A. (Bill) Early, Twelve Mile; Connie (Rick) Laymon, Panama City, FL; six grandchildren, Alicia Collins, Logansport; Heather Bell, Kokomo; Ashley (Clint) Mizell, Panama City, FL; Greg (Abby) Early, Twelve Mile; Jeff Laymon, Tulsa, OK; Ricky (Ericha) Laymon, Panama City, FL; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister Louise Hylton.

A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor K.C. Dehning officiating.  Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service on Saturday.

Memorials may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church.
