Mary Louise Shackelford

Mary Louise Shackelford, 82, of Royal Center, passed away at 11:34 p.m. December 24, 2015, Christmas Eve,
in Miller’s Merry Manor after recently suffering a massive stroke.

Born March 10, 1933, in Howard County, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Fay and Elsie Blanche
(Waldron) Shackelford.

Mary was a 1951 graduate of Logansport High School. She attended college at Indiana University-Kokomo.

After 39 1/2 years, Mary retired from General Tire/GenCorp.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, cardening, traveling and mushroom hunting.

Mary is survived by her longtime friend, Ilean Babb, of Royal Center; and several cousins.

Private burial will be in Davis Cemetery, near Burnettsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher Funeral Chapel.
