Maxine T. Shively, 90, of Logansport, passed away Sunday Dec. 20, 2015 at 12:50 am.
Born Dec. 26, 1924 in Logansport to the late George H. and Cleo “Glancy” Fellers. On July 20, 1946 in Logansport she married Robert H. Shively who preceded in death.
Maxine was a former cafeteria worker for Logansport High School, Columbia Elementary and Franklin
Elementary Schools. She was a member of V.F.W. Post #3790 Ladies Auxiliary, Grace Fellowship Church and will always be remembered for her outgoing friendliness and never left the conversation without saying love ya.
Survivors include one daughter, Beatrice (Arthur) Roberts, Galveston; two sons, Jeffery Lynn and Robert Clay Shively both of Logansport; two grandchildren, Cherie (Myron) Congram, Lafayette; Stephanie (Patrick) Dean, Columbia City; two great grandchildren, Mason and Maxwell Dean; several nieces and nephews.
Two sisters, Phyllis Fellers, Elsie Williams, four brothers, Harold, Raymond, Whitey and Davie Fellers, preceded in death.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, 23, 2015 at the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jay McKinley officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 4 – 6 pm Tuesday Dec. 22, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Fellowship Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
