Charles A. Richardson, 65, of Kewanna passed away at 9:25 a.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2016.
Born on January 22, 1951 in Rochester, he was the son of Kenneth and Phyllis (Smith) Richardson.
Charlie formerly worked at Kewanna Metal Specialties retiring in 2014. He was a member of the V.F.W. Charlie enjoyed socializing, fishing with his boys and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a Purple Heart recipient who served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his children, Crystal Thomas (Chris) of Kewanna, Charles Richardson of Kewanna, Andrew Richardson of Missouri and Shane Richardson of Kewanna, mother, Phyllis Richardson of Rochester, grandchildren, Alexis and Eli, and sisters, Sue and Kathy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Richardson and brother, Gary Richardson.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with Rev. Todd Wilson officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2016 at the funeral home.
