Logansport HS Speech Team places 2nd at Rossville

The Logansport High School Speech Team placed 2nd out of 16 schools at the  Rossville Invitational on February 6, 2016.

Individual awards went to:

Radio:
TJ Caroway, 3rd

Discussion:
Brayden Riley, 2nd; Jon Raderstorf, 3rd; Matthew Calisto 5th;

Humorous:
Alex Starkey, champion; Cassia Scagnoli, 2nd; Lorie Flanagan, 4th; Josiah Richey, 6th

Improv Duo:
Jacob Hooover and Jeremy Gross, 3rd; Josiah Richey and Stiner Richey, 2nd

Oratorical Declamation: Hayley Hines, champion

Original Oratory: Hayley Hines, 5th

Original Performance: Stiner Richey, 6th

Programmed Oral Interp: Cassia Scagnoli, 2nd

The team will host more than 25 schools at their annual Speaking of Love Tournament on Saturday, February 13, 2016 before they compete at Sectionals on February 27.
