Jean Clay

ClayJean Clay, 98 of Logansport, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on December 5, 1917 in Cass County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Esther (Hyman) Davis.

Jean retired from White Rodgers in 1985 after over 40 years of service. She loved to dance and enjoyed bowling.

Surviving is one son, Michael (Terry) Clay, Huntington; son in law, George Beckler, Logansport; grandchildren, Marcy (Jim) Young; Rhonda (David) Smith; Keith Beckler; Jason (Emily) Miller; Mike Clay Jr.; Kyle (Shannon) Miller; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Beckler; and two brothers, Richard and William Davis.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, Young America, IN.

Visitation will be held from noon until time of services on Thursday.
