Louanna Jean Foust, 63, Logansport, passed away at 6:43 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, surrounded by her family, in South Bend Memorial Hospital, following complications from heart surgery.

Born July 20, 1952, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Betty M. (Malott) Williams.

Louanna had worked as a correctional officer the past 12 ½ years at the Miami Correctional Facility.  She had previously worked at Bowyer’s Excavating.

An avid bird watcher, Louanna also enjoyed working in her flower garden. She enjoyed helping her daughter care for her goats and loved traveling to goat shows.  Louanna was an excellent cook.

Surviving are four children: Robert (Mickie) Reeser, Michelle (Russel) Foust and Amy Foust, all of Logansport, and Adam Foust, of Lafayette; five grandchildren: David Reeser, Cory Reeser, Ethan Reeser, Nastasha Reeser and Evan Bullington; and one great-grandchild, Caden Reeser.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Louanna Foust will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 15th, in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Dawn Fisher officiating.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 14th in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Riley Hospital for Children.
