Scott E. Rombold

Born May 31, 1962, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Raymond Carl and Recka (Hall) Rombold.
A graduate of Logansport High School, Scott worked as a meter reader with Logansport Municipal Utilities, recently retiring after 35 years. He was a member of the AFSCME Union.
Scott loved music. He was an avid Colts fan. Scott was also very attuned to politics and loved a good discussion about current events. He enjoyed cooking “exotic dishes.” Scott also loved to travel.
He is survived by two daughters Renee (Jeff) Butler of Plainfield and Rebecca Rombold of Galveston; granddaughter, Sophia Leigh, of Galveston; seven siblings: Carolyn Combs of Kokomo, Wayne Rombold of Florida, Mike Rombold of Las Vegas, Nevada, Patty Robbins of San Jose, California, Sally (Richard) Hall of Rensselaer, Lynn Vitello of Logansport, and Ken Rombold of Quincey, Massachusetts; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his much-loved canines, Otis and Dinky.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Lyle and Brian Rombold.
A funeral service celebrating Scott’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
Burial, at a later date, will be in Zion Cemetery, Lucerne.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 9, in the funeral chapel.
