The Logansport observance of Indiana’s Bicentennial Earth Week continues Thursday with the distribution of perennial peony bulbs.
The first Logansport resident from each of the city’s five wards to call the Mayor’s Office at 8 a.m. Thursday will receive a free Indiana state flower bulb. The phone number is (574) 753-2551.
The observance began with the distribution of more than 200 trees by the city and will continue today with the distribution of cardinal feeders.
Earth Day observances nationwide will be held Friday.
