Daniel H. Logan, 77, of Royal Center passed away at 3:55 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on December 4, 1938 in White County, he was the son of the late Milford and Mabel (Hines) Logan.

He was a 1956 Royal Center High School graduate and a U.S. National Guard veteran serving from 1956 to 1963.

On January 14, 1968 he married Nancy C. Hanawalt, she survives.

Daniel was a lifelong farmer and he also helped his son, Steve with his carpentry work.  He was a member of Caley United Methodist Church and he enjoyed going to auctions and collecting pencils and arrowheads.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Logan of Royal Center, son, Steve Logan of Royal Center and daughter, Vicki Logan of Royal Center.  He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Cearra and Braxten Logan.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Doris Smith officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Thompson Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army and/or the Emmaus Mission.
