Civic Players of Logansport to Present Bicentennial Production of “Big City”

Last Updated on June 16, 2016 by cassnetwork

Civic Players of Logansport will present the locally-written musical “Big City” June 17, 18, 24, and 25.  Set in a bustling metropolis during the age of swing, this production is a comic-book style, family-friendly comedy about a clueless private detective hired to find a missing person, while dealing with local mobsters and a femme fatale — complete with original music that will get your toe tapping!

This show was first produced 15 years ago, and was written by Logansport residents Sam Piercy and Jerron Spencer.  It is being reprised in 2016 in celebration of Indiana’s Bicentennial, and this production has been declared an official Bicentennial Legacy Project by the State of Indiana.

All performances are at 7:30 p.m. at McHale Performing Arts Center on the Logansport High School campus.  Call the box office at 574-753-4116 for more information, or contact Director Lorien Stair-Spicer via e-mail. Tickets are $15 and are also available at the Animal Hospital of Logansport, 574-722-3000.
